New MiG On Tour Episode!: The long awaited new episode of the series MiG on Tour is now up for viewing. Check out Episode 11 - The Bitter End. Try watching it in high quality. Also, check out the rest of MiG's MiGumentary videos. 26 August 2008 Ayesa, LaChanze, Spencer to Join Boston Pops for Handel's Messiah Rocks: MiG will join LaChanze, and J. Robert Spencer and conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops for Handel's Messiah Rocks, at the Cutler Majestic Theatre, Boston MA, September 21 at 7pm. Blending classical music with classic rock, the program examines themes of faith, love and peace while breathing new life into Handel's most performed oratorio. LaChanze won a Tony for The Color Purple; and Spencer originated the role of Nick Massi in the Broadway blockbuster Jersey Boys. Also performing will be the University Choir of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, to be directed by Murray Kidd. The performance will be filmed for later broadcast on PBS. The International Tour of WE WILL ROCK YOU finishes up its incredibly successful run today in Bangkok. The tour started rehearsals in Johannesburg, South Africa last September and visited Auckland, Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok on the way. Check out the tour page for details. 12 July 2008 WE WILL ROCK YOU opens in Bangkok at the Rachadalai Theatre today for a limited season. It is the last leg of the International Tour. MiG and the WE WILL ROCK YOU Band will perform a showcase of songs from MiG's debut CD, new original material, as well as the odd song from the show. Tickets are HK$180 (includes a complimentary drink) but HK$100 of that will go directly to the MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION. This a chance to say goodbye and thank you to fabulous Hong Kong on the last week of the WWRY season, as well as raising money for a magnificent charity. For more details check out the tour page. MiG will join the line up to showcase at Music Matters at CLIQ, Central Hong Kong on 4 June at 11.15pm, after a WWRY performance. He and the WWRY band will be playing songs from his debut album, as well as new original tracks. 25 May 2008 The MiG debut CD has been released in Hong Kong and is available at all good record stores. 16 May 2008 WE WILL ROCK YOU has officially opened in Hong Kong. Now playing at the Lyric Theatre, Wan Chai, at the Academy of Performing Arts. |
